On September 22, the opening of the modernized Artashat Cannery was held. One of the largest enterprises in Armenia has undergone a modernization program worth $ 3.5 million. Italy’s leading tomato processing equipment- Cavalieri, was entered in Artfood factory. It is worth mentioning that today it is the only such line in EAEU.
In the next five years, the company plans to develop work in 4 main areas:
- Double growth of the production, including the growth of productivity .
- The increase in exports by 3.5 times: products are exported not only to Russia, but also to Georgia, Belgium, the USA, Canada, England and Kazakhstan, negotiations underway with the largest importer of Israel.
- Create and export new products.
- An even greater improvements in product quality.
Today the plant is a reliable partner for more than 2000 suppliers. This year, the number of company employees has increased by 25%, exceeding 1000 citizens. The company works closely with small and medium businesses. The purchase of agricultural raw materials from farmers this year has doubled, exceeding 2 billion drams.
